Sunny Day

The weather has been PERFECT the past couple of days. Axel got his 1st tooth (finally) and you can see it if you look close in the close-up of him eating a bagel (he is chewing on everything.) He also does this tongue twisting thing constantly, so funny. Yesterday we played in the backyard in our WT blow up swimming pool. Annika then took off the bottoms of her suit, and put on her Little Mermaid underwear and rainboots, looking good Annika! She wanted to walk Bella and she takes that very serious. Axel loves Bella (as you can see from the pics) but we are not sure if Bella loves Axel or his bagel! The kid has absolutely no fear and Bella is so good with him.

His teeth are just about to come in and he is feeling it (poor guy) Commando crawling all over the place and Annika now has some competition (he is into everything!)

September hike

Great weekend, we went hiking in Mt. Tam today with the McMullens (Beth, Mike, Max and Katie.) Annika was very into the banana slug we found, and she and Max probably threw a hundred rocks between them into the stream.We didn't bring much tranquility to the mountain, but the kids had a blast and so did the adults - it was a gorgeous day.

Bolinas Labor Day weekend

We spent Labor day weekend in the very eccentric town in West Marin called Bolinas. Rented a little cabin and hung out at the beach. It was gorgeous, Annika and Axel loved it - so did Mom and Far. We flew kites and Hayden , Kelly and Jonas came and hung out. We will definitely go back there more often, only an hour form the city but feels like we really are getting away.
